Trade union ver.di has announced a 48-hour warning strike beginning today, September 2, at approximately 10:00 p.m., with seaport terminal employees in Hamburg, Bremerhaven, and Wilhelmshaven set to suspend work following the call. The disruption is expected to affect not only terminal handling operations but also the connecting rail infrastructure, with significant impact on train set circulation. A return to smoother operations is expected to take more than a week, barring further unforeseen complications. We are following closely and will send out any additional updates.
